Rural Leadership & Systems Summit

Three practical workshop days for Tribal Governments, village corporations, rural businesses, nonprofits, and program leaders who need clearer leadership systems, stronger financial management, ready-to-use documents, and support that understands village work.

Leadership gathering with presenters and organizational leaders in an Alaska conference setting

Why attend

Leave with a clearer plan, stronger tools, and a better way to carry the work home.

This is not a sit-and-listen conference. Each day is designed around the real issues rural organizations carry: unclear roles, missing policies, HR questions, financial decisions, employee benefits, Board/Council communication, SOPs, forms, and implementation plans that need to survive after everyone travels home.

Who should attend

Tribal administrators, CEOs, executive directors, Board/Council members, finance staff, HR staff, program managers, supervisors, and rural business leaders.

What participants receive

Training, examples, checklists, templates, discussion time, partner expertise, and clear next steps to bring back to their organization.

How registration works

Choose one day, two days, or all three days. Each day is $375 per attendee.

Agenda

Choose the day or days that match your organization's needs.

Each day can stand alone, or your organization can attend all three for the full leadership, finance, policy, and implementation experience.

Participants will do

Hands-on work, not just note-taking.

Participants will talk through real scenarios, identify gaps in their own systems, draft next steps, and leave with a clearer sense of what needs to happen when they return home.

  • Map current leadership, HR, finance, policy, and documentation gaps.
  • Identify what needs a policy, form, SOP, training, or Board/Council decision.
  • Learn how financial guidance, CPA work, accounting, and procedures fit together.
  • Build a practical action list for the next 30, 60, and 90 days.
  • Connect with ANWTC and partner support for follow-up services.
